Your Responsibilities

The Supplier Quality and Development organization at Siemens Energy is responsible for ensuring the best supplier base in terms of quality, reliability, and safety. The Supplier Quality & Development function acts as a support to procurement and manufacturing through both preventive and reactive measures.

The team operates globally across business areas and regions, providing standards and tools to ensure quality and delivery for all purchased goods.

In the role of Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for selected purchasing areas and suppliers, focusing on driving, coordinating, and following up on activities related to deviation reports and quality work.

Your work will involve:

- Ensuring accurate root cause analyses (RCA) and that corrective actions prevent recurrence. - Analyzing statistics to verify and validate actions and detect recurring deficiencies. - Preparing documentation and reports for, for example, Supplier Performance Review. - Contributing to continuous improvements through process and supplier development.

A central part of the role is to build and maintain internal contacts within Siemens Energy as well as external relationships with suppliers. The role involves acting as a coordinator and “spider in the web” throughout the deviation process – from registration and analysis to action, implementation, and follow-up – as well as ensuring accurate cost documentation for any supplier requirements.

Your Profile

You are structured and analytical and thrive when you can create order and achieve set goals. You enjoy meeting people, both internally within the company and externally. With your positive attitude, outgoing personality, and relationship-building skills, you create trust and good collaborations. We prefer that you have several years of work experience in production, business development, procurement, quality, or related fields. The role involves many international supplier contacts as well as internal contacts within the company. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy being the “spider in the web,” can express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish and English, and have the ability to communicate clearly and pedagogically.
